Building Beyond Borders Themed “Building Beyond Borders,” the initiative seeks to bridge creative industries across Africa and the diaspora through curated panels, networking brunches, and cultural experiences hosted in Nairobi, Cape Town, and London. As a key partner, Vuga Music will curate and lead the music industry panels in both Nairobi (Dec 5) and Cape Town (Dec 12), bringing together thought leaders, artists, and executives to explore vital topics such as music publishing, global collaboration, ownership, and the future of African sound in international markets. “This partnership represents our mission at Vuga Music — simplifying the business of music and helping artists build sustainable careers that transcend borders,” said Ralph B. Adding a cross-industry perspective, Steve Othoro, of The Discovery Club and Founder of Vision 21 Sports Management & Consulting, will share insights drawn from his work overseeing the Aspire Football Dreams program across 10 African countries. With a background spanning sports and experiential marketing, Othoro previously worked with Ogilvy One Worldwide and Omicron Sports & Entertainment, leading major campaigns for Sprite, Barclays, and Tusker. A former U.S. professional basketball player, Steve embodies the intersection of creativity, culture, and sports — a core ethos of the Indvstry Exchange mission. Connecting Communities Through Culture Each session — from virtual panels to in-person brunches and content days — is designed to foster community, collaboration, and storytelling across the global creative spectrum.
